Job Title: Venue Lead Swimming Teacher

About Stepping Stones:

Stepping Stones is a leading provider of private learn-to-swim programs in Scotland, recognized for its high-quality, low-ratio swimming lessons for children. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Venue Lead Swimming Teacher, someone who can lead by example and ensure the seamless delivery of our swim program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Delivery: Oversee the delivery and progression of swimmers within our program, ensuring the highest quality of instruction and adherence to our teaching methods.
  • Team Support: Support and mentor newly qualified teachers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Manage customer feedback and ensure swift resolution of any issues, maintaining a positive and professional relationship with our clients.
  • Facility Management: Maintain strong relationships with facility staff to ensure a positive environment for our swim lessons and facilitate communication between the delivery team and office staff.
  • Training and Development: Attend monthly training days to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: National Governing Body Swimming Teacher Certificate (Essential) and NRASTC or NPLQ qualification required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within a swim instruction environment.
  • Personal Qualities: A leader at heart, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide our team of instructors. Approachable, knowledgeable, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality and efficiency of our program.

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel: Clean driving license and ability to travel to various Stepping Stones venues within the region.
