Actuarial Change Analyst Role

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Change Analyst to join our team at Diligenta. As an Actuarial Change Analyst, you will play a key part in supporting our business operational support function with complex manual calculations and policy queries from our customer-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing complex manual calculations to support business enquiries and provide accurate results.
  • Providing responses to complex policy enquiries to support other business areas and ensure seamless communication.
  • Updating and testing regular changes to systems, including bonus updates, policy fee updates, and premium rate changes, to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Using and interrogating complex spreadsheets to enable complex non-standard queries to be answered and provide valuable insights.
  • Supporting mainframe migrations and changes, particularly specifying the calculations to be migrated to new systems, to ensure a smooth transition.

Requirements

  • Working towards the Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries qualification.
  • Experience working in an Actuarial Team supporting customer-facing functions and providing expert advice.
  • Experience supporting a migration programme and ensuring successful implementation.
  • From a life insurance or outsourcing background, with in-depth knowledge of life assurance and pension product types and charges.
  • Adept at specifying and testing life and pensions calculations, with a strong attention to detail.
