About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Change Analyst to join our team at Sanderson. As an Actuarial Change Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by completing complex manual calculations, providing responses to policy enquiries, and updating and testing regular changes to our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex manual calculations to support business enquiries and provide accurate responses to policy enquiries.
- Update and test regular changes to our systems, including bonus updates, policy fee updates, and premium rate changes.
- Use and interrogate complex spreadsheets to enable complex non-standard queries to be answered.
- Support mainframe migrations and changes, particularly specifying the calculations to be migrated to new systems.
Requirements
- Working towards the Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
- Experience working in an Actuarial Team supporting customer-facing functions.
- Experience supporting a migration programme.
- From a life insurance or outsourcing background, with in-depth knowledge of life assurance and pension product types and charges.
- Adept at specifying and testing life and pensions calculations.
