Salary: £140,000 - £180,000 per annum + Bonus + Equity


Company Overview:

Finatal, an ambitious and innovative Private Equity-backed B2C business, is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance team and drive the financial strategy of the business.


Role Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer will be the No1 in Finance, reporting directly to the CEO. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the financial strategy, ensuring the company is on track to meet its ambitious growth and exit plans.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement the financial strategy in alignment with the company's growth objectives, with a particular focus on maximising value ahead of the planned exit.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing timely and accurate financial information to the CEO, Board, and Private Equity investors.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead the financial due diligence and integration of acquisitions, ensuring each transaction contributes to the company's overall growth and value creation strategy.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.


Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a Finance Director or CFO, preferably within a Private Equity-backed environment and in a B2C business.
  • Experience with buy-and-build strategies and M&A is essential.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution, ensuring the finance function is both a strategic partner and an efficient service provider.
