Job Title: Chief Financial Officer - Digital Transformation Leader

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote within the UK

Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 per annum

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial strategy and drive digital transformation within our forward-thinking fintech organisation. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and executing financial strategies that align with our growth and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's growth and profitability goals.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Oversee the FP&A function, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Digital Transformation & Process Automation: Lead the digital transformation of the finance function, focusing on automation to improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Commercial Finance & Strategy: Provide financial insights to commercial teams, driving revenue growth and cost optimisation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a fintech, technology, or related industry.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with expertise in digital transformation and process automation.
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic mindset, and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, data analytics, and advanced financial software, with experience using tools such as Xero.
