We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technologist/Radiographer to join our Molecular Imaging team at The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders of Oncology Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scans with precision and accuracy.
- Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17, ensuring compliance with legislative and hospital policies.
- Conduct quality assurance of equipment, reporting and implementing corrective action as necessary.
- Liaise with reporting consultants to clarify or discuss requests for complex examinations.
- Prioritize patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care through good clinical practice.
- Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required.
- Rotate between departments as needed.
- Assist with training of new staff and support departmental audits.
- BSc Nuclear Medicine, Medical Imaging or similar degree.
- RTC registration.
- Previous senior-level experience with comprehensive post-qualification work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Salary: Up to £51,000 dependent on experience.
