Senior Technologist/Radiographer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technologist/Radiographer to join our Molecular Imaging team at The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders of Oncology Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scans with precision and accuracy.
  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17, ensuring compliance with legislative and hospital policies.
  • Conduct quality assurance of equipment, reporting and implementing corrective action as necessary.
  • Liaise with reporting consultants to clarify or discuss requests for complex examinations.
  • Prioritize patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care through good clinical practice.
  • Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required.
  • Rotate between departments as needed.
  • Assist with training of new staff and support departmental audits.
Person Specification
  • BSc Nuclear Medicine, Medical Imaging or similar degree.
  • RTC registration.
  • Previous senior-level experience with comprehensive post-qualification work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.

Salary: Up to £51,000 dependent on experience.
