Role Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PET-CT Radiographer to join our imaging team at London Bridge Hospital, a leading provider of complex care services in oncology, cardiology, and neuroscience.


The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of PET-CT and CT procedures to a high standard, working independently and as part of a team to deliver quality diagnostic imaging to all service users.


Key Responsibilities



  • Perform PET-CT and CT procedures to a high standard, adhering to legislative and hospital policies & procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17 and rotate between departments as required.
  • Prioritise patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality, liaising with reporting consultants to clarify or discuss requests for complex examinations.
  • Assist with the training of new staff, ensuring that quality assurance of equipment is carried out in line with departmental policy.
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, supporting departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies.

Requirements



  • BSc Radiography and valid HCPC registration for Radiographers.
  • RCT registration or willingness to register for Technologists, with previous senior-level experience in CT and PET-CT.
  • A strong team player attitude, ability to work independently, and a positive approach to quality improvement.
