Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PET-CT and CT Radiographer to join our imaging team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of PET-CT and CT procedures to a high standard, prioritizing patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Skilfully perform PET-CT and CT procedures to a high standard
  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17
  • Rotate between departments as required
  • Liaise with reporting consultants to clarify or discuss requests for complex examinations
  • Assist with training of new staff
  • Comply with legislative and hospital policies & procedures to ensure patient safety
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary
  • Support departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies
  • Ensure quality assurance of equipment is carried out in line with departmental policy
  • Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required

Requirements

  • BSc Radiography
  • Valid HCPC registration (if you are a Radiographer)
  • Technologists should be RCT registered or willing to work towards registration with the help of HCA UK
  • Previous senior-level experience with comprehensive post-qualification work experience in CT and PET-CT
