Senior PET Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PET Technologist to join our Molecular Imaging Department at The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders of Oncology Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scans, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scans, utilizing your expertise and knowledge of radiation protection and infection control.
  • To act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17, ensuring compliance with legislative and hospital policies.
  • To maintain equipment quality assurance, recording and reporting faults in a timely manner and implementing corrective action where necessary.
  • To prioritize patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality, maintaining a high standard of patient care through good clinical practice.
  • To rotate between departments as required, assisting with training of new staff and supporting departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies.

Requirements:

  • BSc Nuclear Medicine, Medical Imaging or similar.
  • RTC registration.
  • Previous senior-level experience with comprehensive post qualification work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.
