Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Trial Balance Consulting. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in the company's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take leadership of the group accounting function, including the management and mentoring of one colleague.
  • Prepare monthly management accounting and quarterly reporting.
  • Develop and manage budgets and cash flow forecasts.
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems and platforms.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including authorizing supplier payment runs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely VAT, tax filing, and statutory reporting.
  • Manage aged debtor accounts and coordinate monthly payroll.
  • Collaborate with directors on group company projects and work closely with auditors and chartered accountants.

Requirements:

  • Experience in end-to-end accounting gained within an SME environment.
  • Partially or fully professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent vocational experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to supervise and develop an enthusiastic colleague.
