Join Our Team as a Systems Accountant

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a skilled Systems Accountant to join our team. As a Systems Accountant, you will play a key role in developing and improving financial systems, ensuring they run to perfection and train the finance team and other department heads in their efficient use.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead in the rollout and development of new and existing finance technology platforms
  2. Audit review of controls identifying potential risks
  3. Ensure accounting entries are appropriately classified in accordance with internal policy and accounting standards
  4. Be at the forefront of developing new ideas to maximize and update the current finance system, implementing solutions as necessary
  5. Train new and experienced staff in the use of a variety of systems
  6. Update systems to ensure reporting compliance
  7. Proactively engage with managed provider to close timetable, ensuring processes are completed in accordance with business controls
  8. Act as a first point of contact for troubleshooting support

As a Systems Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a senior management team that bases everything they do on impeccable product quality and customer service. You will be part of a rapidly expanding specialist manufacturing business that is looking for a skilled Systems Accountant who can take a lead role in developing and supporting the health of the company's accounting systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in systems implementation and a thorough knowledge of the challenges faced by a medium-large sized services sector business where all financial systems are concerned
  • Professionally qualified Systems Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience
