About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs to achieve their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide person-centred care and support to individuals with mental health issues, promoting their recovery and independence.
  • Develop and implement individually tailored support plans, working closely with individuals to identify and achieve their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure effective discharge planning and risk management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of the recovery model and its application in a mental health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Mental Health Act and Care Act.
