This role will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of our Heart Failure Clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Heart Failure Team, including making and changing clinic appointments, answering general questions, and taking messages for the clinical team.
- Assist in arranging clinics across various bases, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are made in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support the team in collecting service performance data, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded and reported.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care, working closely with them to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, carers, relatives, and other healthcare professionals, providing a warm, friendly, and helpful service at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and NHS clinical health record systems, such as EMIS Web.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
