About the Role
The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled administrator to join their Heart Failure Team as a Clinical Team Administrator. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the clinical team, ensuring the smooth operation of the service and providing a high level of customer service to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for making, changing, and cancelling clinic appointments, as well as listening to and signposting service users. You will also be required to pass on messages to clinical staff, create and send appointment letters, receive and manage referrals, and input and record information onto electronic patient records.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working in a secretarial/administrative role, with experience of using NHS patient records and data systems. You will also need to have evidence of relevant secretarial/IT training, customer service prior experience, and previous NHS experience in a similar role. Good literacy and communication skills are also essential.
