About the Role
The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Team Administrator to join our Heart Failure Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clinical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to our clinical staff, including making and changing appointments, answering general questions, and taking messages.
- Assist in the arrangement of clinics and services, including photocopying and collating assessment packs and patient information.
- Support the collection of service performance data and contribute to the development of the team.
- Provide a warm and friendly service to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
About Us
The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust provides care outside of the hospital setting, including community locations and people's own homes. Our Hospital Services operate from three main hospitals, including Furness General Hospital, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a secretarial or administrative role.
- Experience of using NHS patient records and data systems.
- Evidence of relevant secretarial or IT training.
- Evidence of customer service prior experience.
- Previous NHS experience in a similar role.
