About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Portfolio, Finance to join our Chief Digital Office within Social Security Scotland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of projects across the division, ensuring effective resource management, workforce planning, and financial expenditure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with senior stakeholders on portfolio, resourcing, and financial matters.
  • Work across multiple branches to examine resource levels, agree financial allocations, and prioritize project resources.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders to achieve positive outcomes focused on public value.
  • Translate complex financial information to staff who are not familiar with the finance domain.
  • Converse confidently with Agency and Central Finance colleagues on matters such as VAT and depreciation of capital assets.
What We Offer
