Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Store Manager to lead our award-winning Sedbury SPAR store. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional who can effectively engage with both team members and customers, collaborating closely with the Area Manager to align operational strategies with corporate objectives while fostering a positive and empowering workplace culture that embodies our values.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and nurture a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Encourage a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and a strong sense of community within the store.
- Recognize and celebrate team achievements.
- Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock control.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Execute customer service strategies to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
- Establish and meet sales targets, actively driving initiatives to enhance revenue and profitability.
- Analyze sales reports and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Engage in local community events and initiatives to strengthen the store's connection with the community.
- Seek partnerships and collaborations that contribute to the overall well-being of the area.
- Oversee budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to ensure the store operates within established financial guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in retail management, with a proven record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and developing a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and the local community.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to enhance business performance.
