Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Store Manager to lead our award-winning Sedbury SPAR store. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional who can effectively engage with both team members and customers, collaborating closely with the Area Manager to align operational strategies with corporate objectives while fostering a positive and empowering workplace culture that embodies our values.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and nurture a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Encourage a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and a strong sense of community within the store.
  • Recognize and celebrate team achievements.
Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock control.
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.
Customer Engagement:
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Execute customer service strategies to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales and Performance:
  • Establish and meet sales targets, actively driving initiatives to enhance revenue and profitability.
  • Analyze sales reports and trends to identify areas for improvement.
Community Involvement:
  • Engage in local community events and initiatives to strengthen the store's connection with the community.
  • Seek partnerships and collaborations that contribute to the overall well-being of the area.
Financial Management:
  • Oversee budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to ensure the store operates within established financial guidelines.
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in retail management, with a proven record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and developing a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and the local community.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to enhance business performance.
