Inchcape Retail Limited Customer Service Specialist

Compensation: £13 per hour, OTE £15,928 + Employee Benefits
Part-time role: 22 hours weekly, including one weekend day (to be discussed during the interview)

Role Introduction

The automotive sector is experiencing a significant shift, transitioning from a product-centric to a service-oriented model. Inchcape is committed to leading this change, enhancing every aspect of the customer experience with the dealership at its core.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will represent one of the world's premier brands, guiding customers through their journey as the initial point of contact in the Retail Centre. Your role will focus on fulfilling their needs while delivering a customer-centric, premium service.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Proactively engaging with customers to provide assistance and advice tailored to their needs
  • Contributing to an inviting retail atmosphere for our customers, including product displays
  • Planning and managing the customer journey, enabling informed decision-making and providing relevant information on all products and services available in a compliant manner
  • Presenting a balanced overview of financing options to customers, adhering to compliance protocols (including Initial Sales Disclosure)
  • Assisting with the basic needs of aftersales customers in collaboration with the aftersales team to ensure seamless service
  • Facilitating the test drive experience, including product presentation and necessary documentation
  • Collaborating with management to secure and process vehicle orders, utilizing Mercedes Benz platforms where applicable
  • Coordinating and confirming handover details for customers who purchase a vehicle, working closely with administrative staff and vehicle progress coordinators
  • Following up with previous visitors and inquiries to assist and reappoint where appropriate
