We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relationship Director to join our Consumer team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client relationships and developing business strategies to drive growth and profitability.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for a designated portfolio of client relationships, working closely with key partners to understand client needs and trends.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to meet client profitability requirements and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to develop further income and recommend solutions to clients, maximizing business growth for the Group.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of credit facilities and services, collaborating with Credit and Risk colleagues to ensure global credit exposure.
  • Prepare and present responses to invitations to tender for new and existing business, working closely with specialist providers to enhance overall business returns.
  • Lead, motivate, develop, and appraise team members to ensure individual and collective performance meets current and future business needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous corporate banking experience managing a portfolio of clients, ideally in the Consumer sector.
  • Outstanding team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others towards shared objectives.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities, coupled with a track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies.
