Relationship Director

Frieze Publishing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Relationship Director to join our team. As a key member of our VIP and Institutional Relations team, you will play a crucial role in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with top institutions in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a cultivation strategy for institutions in the region, working closely with the Head of VIP and Fair Director.
- Identify opportunities for new in-person and digital initiatives that respond to institutions' needs, ensuring alignment with Frieze's overall goals.
- Travel extensively to build relationships with key institutions, attending key art events and providing detailed reports after each trip or meeting.
- Contribute to adding and refining in-depth intel into the database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Coordinate opportunities with local and regional institutions, building knowledge of Frieze galleries and their programs.
- Deliver introductions of institutions to exhibiting galleries at the fair and year-round, fostering strong relationships and driving institutional engagement.
- Experience working in a museum, gallery, or similar cultural institution, with a focus on development, outreach, or institutional relations.
- Proven experience in managing projects within the arts and cultural space, with a strong understanding of the art world and key institutions in EMEA.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of working with data, analytics, and a database, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to travel and work weekends/evenings as required, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
