About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Team Member at our SPAR store in Newport, Pembrokeshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for customers, answering their queries and assisting them in finding the products they need.
  • Store Operations: Work effectively with our stock, checking deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Additional Tasks: Complete assigned tasks, such as date checking, stock and gap checking, price changes, and promotional displays, to ensure the store runs smoothly.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Reliably follow instructions and procedures with excellent attention to detail.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Some understanding of legislative responsibilities of a retail environment and the skills to assist with adherence.
  • Team Player: Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business forward.
