Job Overview

Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to manage essential HR administrative functions and processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of daily HR activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the National HR Manager in executing strategic HR initiatives and objectives.
  • Support the Divisional HR Manager in maintaining compliance with relevant statutory regulations.
  • Oversee the Recruitment and Selection processes to attract top talent.
  • Facilitate the Performance Appraisal system to evaluate employee performance effectively.
  • Manage Training and Development initiatives to enhance employee skills.
  • Handle Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) matters.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and external bodies such as unions and bargaining councils.
  • Supervise Payroll Administration to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Administer Employee Benefits and Payroll-related tasks.
  • Participate in the Employment Equity (EE) Committee and assist with related requirements.
  • Support the BBBEE audit process as necessary.

Additional Support:

Provide assistance to the Divisional HR Manager and General Site Manager with other relevant tasks as needed.

Qualifications
  • Diploma / NQF level 6 in Human Resource Management - Essential
  • Bachelor's Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 in Human Resource Management - Preferred
