Job Summary:

Cedar Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Finance Administrator to join a prestigious higher education institution in the South East. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for supporting all financial transactions and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process financial transactions accurately and in accordance with financial regulations.
  • Produce reports and statistics to inform financial decision-making.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for departmental queries and provide assistance to team members on system-related matters.
  • Liaise with relevant teams to resolve queries related to expenses, invoices, and financial data management.
  • Process interdepartmental transfers and expense/travel claims efficiently.
  • Support the administrative team with requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Update financial records and investigate discrepancies in accounts.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to senior members of staff.
  • Manage stationery stock and replenish as needed.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of financial processes and regulations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of formulas.
  • Sound knowledge of MyFinance system.
  • Higher education experience is advantageous.
