About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our Adult Psychiatry service in Weymouth and Portland CMHT. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
- Supervise and appraise junior medical staff, ensuring they meet their professional development needs.
- Participate in research and audit projects to improve patient care and outcomes.
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- MRCPsych or recognised equivalent.
- Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician approval or ability to obtain approval before starting post.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to provide clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of requirements for supervision and appraisal of junior medical staff.
