About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Care Worker in our Colchester home. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to our young people during challenging times
  • Foster ambition and assist in achieving goals and maximizing potential
  • Support educational pursuits and maintain accurate records
  • Empower young people to participate in decision-making and act as an advocate in meetings
  • Encourage community engagement and expand personal social networks
  • Meet the needs of children and young people, organizing social activities and maintaining the home
Requirements
  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
  • Full UK driving license required
  • No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people
  • Attendance at a 2-week training program required
  • Must have availability for sleep-in shifts
