Occupational Therapist for Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with individuals with learning disabilities, their families, and carers to provide high-quality occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans to address complex needs and presentations.
- Design and implement interventions and management plans, evaluating and monitoring progress.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and external agencies, providing consultancy and support as needed.
- Work collaboratively with staff teams to provide specialist advice and guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, national guidance, and best practices in occupational therapy.
- BSc degree in Occupational Therapy and active HCPC registration.
- Postgraduate education in OT or relevant field, with ongoing CPD in OT and wider healthcare.
- Minimum 4 years of post-registration experience as an OT, with 2 years in learning disabilities or mental health.
- Experience working with complex needs, autism, and behaviors that may challenge.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
