Occupational Therapist for Adults with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Lambeth and Southwark, working with adults with learning disabilities. As a key member of our community-based learning disability team, you will be responsible for delivering an effective and efficient occupational therapy service to adults with learning disabilities living in the community.
Main Duties:- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to adults with learning disabilities, focusing on their occupational needs and goals.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, carers, and support networks to develop and implement individualized plans to meet the needs of adults with learning disabilities.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members, carers, and healthcare professionals on occupational therapy techniques and methods.
- Contribute to the development of clinical and non-clinical policies and protocols for the community learning disability occupational therapy team.
- Participate in research and development activities, including audit and surveys, to improve the quality of care for adults with learning disabilities.
- Registered with the Health Professions Council (HCPC)
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work as an occupational therapist
- Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and in community settings
