We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at Sussex Community. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing occupational assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational assessments to identify individuals' strengths and needs, and develop personalized intervention plans to promote recovery and relapse prevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless discharge planning and transition of patients back into the community.
- Provide clinical supervision to occupational therapy staff, promoting professional development and excellence in practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided by Sussex Community.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an occupational therapist.
- Postgraduate level study or training in occupational therapy or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health difficulties and learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
