About the Role
As a Claims Administrator at RSA, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, policyholders, and third parties when they need to make a claim. Your role will involve registering the first notification of loss (FNOL), managing customer expectations, and signposting them through the next steps in their claim journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer interactions in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Assess claims against relevant criteria and experience to identify actual or potential issues and involve others as appropriate to minimize leakage and protect the interests of the business.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the admin team and across the department on a daily basis to allocate new and existing claims across the Injury and Property damage teams.
- Provide training to access claims against relevant criteria and policy wordings to identify actual or potential issues/claims.
About You
We are looking for an individual with administrative experience in an insurance environment, although this is not essential. You will have good knowledge of Microsoft applications and the ability to adapt your approach to differing business/client expectations and policy requirements. You will also have the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with customers both internal and external.
