We are seeking a skilled and personable Doorman to enhance the experience at Mark's Club, a prestigious establishment within The Birley Group.

Mark's Club is an exclusive members' dining venue, situated in a tranquil Mayfair residence, offering a retreat for its members from the bustling city life. The Club prides itself on delivering exceptional, award-winning cuisine paired with a remarkable selection of cocktails, wines, and cigars.

As a Doorman at Mark's Club, your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet our members upon their arrival and assist them as needed, directing them to the reception area. You will also facilitate valet parking services for our members, necessitating proficiency in driving. Additionally, you will aid members in securing taxis upon departure, provide precise directions, and retrieve vehicles that have been valet parked. Effective communication with the Reception Team is crucial to ensure awareness of daily business levels and any specific requirements or assistance needed by our members and their guests.

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

  • Possess prior experience as a Doorman, preferably in a high-end restaurant, club, or hotel
  • Have experience working with distinguished members
  • Exhibit ambassadorial qualities for the club; maintaining a polite, courteous, and engaging demeanor
  • Demonstrate a charismatic personality capable of fostering memorable relationships with all members
  • Hold a valid, clean UK driving license and an up-to-date (not expired) SIA license
  • Have a strong command of the English language and present themselves impeccably
  • Ideally possess a solid understanding of Mayfair and its surroundings
