Job Overview

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team of chartered accountants. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end accounting support to a range of clients, including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to partners and accounts managers.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning
    • Assist in the preparation of corporate and income tax computations.
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Client Support
    • Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored support.
    • Communicate financial information to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Administrative Support
    • Undertake ad hoc administrative tasks as requested by management.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice.
    • Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
