About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting and auditing team, you will be responsible for supervising a portfolio of clients and department work planning, reviewing accounts and providing advice for more complex clients, managing members of the audit and accounts team, and applying relevant reporting standards, tax law and auditing standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a portfolio of audit and accounts clients and department work planning
  • Review accounts and provide advice for more complex clients
  • Manage members of the audit and accounts team, carrying out audit and statutory accounts
  • Apply relevant reporting standards, tax law and auditing standards whilst executing work within deadlines and to budget and communicating effectively
  • Support team members and assist them in resolving technical issues
  • Work alongside partners to manage client relationships, focusing on their needs and dealing with queries and requests as they arise, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth flow of work
  • Regularly report to partners on the workflow, work in progress, forthcoming deadlines and job costs and giving regular, constructive feedback to the audit and accounts team
  • Assist in the assessment, development and training of the team
  • Potentially support partners with marketing and the development of the practice
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with extensive experience gained within practice
  • Be completely conversant with all aspects of audit and accounting procedures
  • Have experience of effectively supervising junior team members
  • Proven analytical skills with an acute attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be IT literate and highly competent with audit and accounting software
Benefits
  • £55,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
