This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to join a reputable accountancy practice in a challenging position that involves both accounts and audit.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Supervising a portfolio of audit and accounts clients and department work planning.
  • Reviewing financial statements and providing advice for more complex clients.
  • Managing members of the audit and accounts team, carrying out financial audits and statutory accounts.
  • Applying relevant financial reporting standards, tax laws and auditing standards while executing work within deadlines and to budget and communicating effectively.
  • Supporting team members and assisting them in resolving technical issues.
  • Regularly reporting to partners on the workflow, work in progress, forthcoming deadlines and job costs and giving regular, constructive feedback to the audit and accounts team.
  • Assisting in the assessment, development and training of the team.
  • Depending on experience, potentially supporting the partners with business development and the growth of the practice.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with extensive experience gained within a professional services firm.
  • Be completely conversant with all aspects of financial audit and accounting procedures.
  • Be IT literate and highly competent with financial audit and accounting software.
