Job Overview

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team of chartered accountants. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end accounting support to a range of clients, including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to partners and accounts managers
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks and deadlines
  • Financial Analysis and Planning
    • Assist in the preparation of corporate and income tax computations
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
  • Client Support and Communication
    • Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored support
    • Communicate financial information and results to clients and stakeholders
  • Ad Hoc Tasks and Projects
    • Undertake ad hoc work as requested by management
    • Contribute to special projects and initiatives to drive business growth
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice
    • Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
