This position plays a vital role in advancing the global HR strategy for Group Functions, offering the chance to engage in diverse HR domains and foster business partnerships across all Central Functions.

Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner for Group Functions (Commercial), this role will also provide support to the HR Director of Central Functions in various HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

HR Support

  • Deliver operational and administrative assistance to HR Business Partners throughout all employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, offers, recognition programs, compensation reviews, performance evaluations, and exit interviews.
  • Aid in the preparation of presentations and materials for meetings, ensuring consistency across all Group Functions.
  • Provide timely information to the HR Centre, which manages payroll and benefits administration for employees in the UK/Ireland, and offer support as needed.
  • Assist with the administration of international employee transfers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries.

Delivering HR Excellence

  • Maintain and manage data integrity, which is crucial for annual activities, while resolving data issues through collaboration with the HR Centre.
  • Conduct HR data reporting and analysis to meet routine organizational requirements and key HR metrics, such as turnover and absence reporting.
  • Coordinate contractor extensions in the UK, ensuring timely notifications to line managers and HR Business Partners.
  • Manage online resources for Group HR teams on SharePoint or other suitable platforms.
  • Represent Group Central Functions in user acceptance testing for new system capabilities and rollouts.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to HR processes, operations, and administration.
  • Act as a super-user for HR systems, providing guidance to line managers on available resources.
  • Create offline organizational charts as needed.
  • Foster a mindset of continuous improvement, seeking and proposing solutions to enhance processes.

Recruitment

  • Assist hiring managers in completing requisitions for vacant positions, ensuring accurate job descriptions and compensation details are submitted to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop Interview Plans for each interview, utilizing the Interview Builder to select appropriate questions.
  • Partner with hiring managers during first-stage interviews as requested by HR Business Partners, ensuring constructive feedback is provided to candidates.
  • Support HR Business Partners and Expertise teams in promoting graduate and placement programs across Nomad Foods.

Induction & Onboarding

  • Educate line managers and new hires on the induction process.
  • Ensure all new employees have comprehensive induction plans in collaboration with line managers.
  • Advise line managers on suitable content for induction plans and ensure new starters complete all onboarding activities.
  • Monitor new starter attendance at onboarding initiatives, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.

Company Culture

  • Actively engage in the ongoing cultural development, embodying our company values daily.
  • Facilitate the coordination of the quarterly Nomad Foods People Awards across Shared Finance.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on the Employee Opinion Survey, proactively participating in the development of action plans.

Performance Management

  • Assist employees and managers in conducting effective mid-year and end-of-year performance discussions.
  • Support line managers with performance development plan completion using Success Factors.
  • Track and report on performance development plan completion to HR Business Partners.
  • Analyze development plans to identify key themes and opportunities for promoting performance cycle activities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Aid in coordinating the annual review process and associated data integrity tasks.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate participation from Group Central Functions in Nomad-wide learning and development programs.
  • Manage the nomination and communication process for global initiatives such as Management, Leadership, and women's programs.
  • Co-facilitate in-house HR-led training sessions.

Talent Management

  • Coordinate the annual cycle for Group Functions and assist HR Business Partners with necessary preparations and facilitation.

Employee Relations

  • Collaborate with line managers on employee relations casework, providing guidance as needed.
  • Serve as a note-taker in employee relations meetings when required.
  • Track employee relations casework for Group Functions globally.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations inquiries.
  • Create all necessary documentation for employee relations matters.

Graduate Programs

  • Assist in managing the Nomad Foods Tech & Finance graduate programs, including recruitment and training.
  • Support the onboarding of the graduate cohort.
  • Help organize graduate rotations, collaborating with function sponsors.
  • Assist in coordinating the mid-year performance development review process.

HR Projects

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners on the development and implementation of key HR projects across business areas.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Degree qualified.
  • CIPD certification.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors.
  • Experience with iCIMS ATS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex.
