Key Responsibilities- Provide professional planning leadership and day-to-day operational management to staff within the Development Management Section.
- Maintain an operational case load of predominantly major planning case work.
- Lead and manage a team of planning professionals to achieve strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement effective planning policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- A relevant Town Planning qualification or a related discipline.
- MRTPI membership.
- Substantial Development Management experience.
- Staff management experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A driving licence and ability to visit sites throughout the council's area.
- A competitive salary of £47,491 - £50,893 per annum.
- 26 days Annual Leave + 4 additional days after 5 years of service.
