We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Community General Adult Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients in the community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for patients in the community.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the needs of patients.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Hold a medical qualification (e.g., MBBS) and be registered with the GMC.
- Have a CCT in Psychiatry or be on the Specialist Register.
- Have Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician approval.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have experience in managing a multidisciplinary team.
- Have a qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
- Have experience in teaching and training junior medical staff.
- Have experience in research and audit projects.
