About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustaining Hardware Engineer to join our team at Concurrent Technologies Plc. As a Sustaining Hardware Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting our existing product lines, ensuring their continued relevance and competitiveness in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legacy Product Re-design: Identify requirements, design, and implement re-spins of our legacy products, utilizing the latest components to extend product lifecycle.
  • Component Obsolescence Management: Report technical issues and progress, prepare and submit technical work for review, and ensure necessary analysis and development activities are identified and performed.
  • Design Reviews: Conduct design reviews, including schematic and PCB layout, to ensure all original requirements are achieved.
Requirements
  • Education: MEng/MSc/BEng in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or similar/equivalent discipline.
  • Experience: Electronic engineering experience, high-speed digital circuit design, excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, and good communication skills.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience working with PC motherboard architecture, programmable logic devices or FPGA, embedded software appreciation, and experience with Intel or ARM chipsets.
