About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or Qualified Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to join our Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in Kent and Medway.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with schools and other agencies to provide mental health support to children, young people, and their families. The role involves delivering the core components of the service, including the Whole School Approach, Targeted Intervention, and Consultation and Liaison.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assessment and treatment of children and young people under the MHST 3 Core functions
  • Working as part of a team with a set number of schools to deliver the core components of the service
  • Active participation in local and county-wide meetings and supervision forums
