Mental Health Practitioner

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Kent and Medway. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Teams, you will work closely with schools and other agencies to provide early access to services and offer greater preventative provision.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assessment and treatment of children and young people under the MHST 3 Core functions (Targeted Intervention, Whole School Approach & Consultation and Liaison)
- Work as part of a team with a set number of schools to deliver the core components of the service
- Active participation in local and county-wide meetings and supervision forums
Requirements
- Successful completion of Education Mental Health Practitioner and Child Wellbeing Practitioner course
- Experience of the delivery of specific therapeutic interventions to children, young people, or their families (CBT, solution-focused brief therapy)
- Excellent communication skills
- Has a driving license
