About the Role:
Cygnet Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the psychological care of clients within our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Qualified Psychologists in delivering and evaluating effective services that meet Cygnet's Healthcare objectives.
- Administer, score, and report on psychometric assessments, standardised risk assessments, and clinical formulation.
- Deliver supervised individual and group interventions, and contribute to the development of evidence-based interventions.
Requirements:
- Good degree in Psychology, with further postgraduate training in a relevant area of applied psychology and mental health.
- Previous experience of working within mental health services and settings, with a strong understanding of therapeutic boundaries and clinical risk.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
