Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children, young people, and their families in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an EMHP or CWP, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services, working closely with schools and other agencies to promote emotional wellbeing and mental health.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assessment and treatment of children and young people under the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) 3 Core functions (Targeted Intervention, Whole School Approach & Consultation and Liaison)
  • Working as part of a team with a set number of schools to deliver the core components of the service
  • Active participation in local and county-wide meetings and supervision forums

Requirements
  • Successful completion of Education Mental Health Practitioner and Child Wellbeing Practitioner course
  • Experience of delivering specific therapeutic interventions to children, young people, or their families (CBT, solution-focused brief therapy)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A driving license
