Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Senior Lead Nurse and Operational Manager in the leadership and daily management of the department and team
* Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve service goals and objectives
* Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members
* Participate in clinical effectiveness and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
* NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)
* Degree
* Teaching and assessing qualification
* Up to date ALS and EPLS competence
* Diploma/Certificate in Leadership/Management
* Masters Degree
* Clinical experience at level Band 6 or above
* Knowledge of audit process and research-based practice
* Understanding of budget and resource management
* Evidence of conflict management
* Practice in a changing environment
* Service Development
