About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Meetings & Events Coordinator to join our team at IHG - Kimpton Clocktower Manchester. As a Meetings & Events Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and meetings at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enquiry Management: Manage event enquiries to maximize sales, occupancy, and revenue, including up-selling equipment, food and beverage, and relevant hotel facilities.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate with clients to ensure accurate details for each event and reservation are obtained, and provide excellent service to all guests and clients.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Actively consider prevention, recovery, and investigation of any complaints or issues that may arise during events.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Events & Reservations team to achieve department objectives and budget.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or events industry, with a focus on customer service and event coordination.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Education: Relevant education or training in hospitality, events management, or a related field.
