Position: Hackney & Islington Programme Manager

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking a dedicated Programme Manager to join the 2030 Vision team. This role is pivotal in enhancing community engagement and church development.

Role Overview

The Programme Manager will lead the Hackney and Islington Initiative (HIP), focusing on building partnerships and establishing new church communities in the region. The primary objective is to cultivate a vibrant church community that addresses the needs of low-income neighborhoods and encourages renewal within the Catholic mission.

  • Assist the Archdeacon of Hackney in prioritizing HIP initiatives.
  • Develop and implement systems to monitor program progress.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee HIP personnel, leaders, and volunteers.
  • Provide leadership in administrative functions, ensuring effective delivery, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Encourage collaboration among various workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze data to evaluate outcomes and guide strategic decisions.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities for mission-driven projects.
  • Manage relationships and operational aspects for New Worshipping Communities.
