We're seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at KP Snacks, a leading manufacturer of delicious snacks. As a Payroll Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our 2400 employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Operations: Handle complex payroll scenarios, including bonuses, deductions, pensions, and statutory payments, ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation.
  • Insights and Improvements: Provide valuable data-driven insights to senior management and lead initiatives to streamline and enhance our payroll processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT to optimize our payroll systems and ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
  • Leadership and Innovation: Participate in or lead payroll-related projects, including system upgrades and process reengineering, helping us stay ahead of the curve.
  • Mentorship and Support: Share your expertise by training and developing team members and act as the go-to person for resolving payroll queries and issues.

We're looking for someone with excellent analytical skills, proficiency in payroll software, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. If you have a CIPP qualification or equivalent, that's a bonus Experience working in a large, multi-site organization and previous experience with payroll-related projects are also highly valued.
