Are you a skilled payroll professional looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard. As a Payroll Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring our 2400 employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle complex payroll challenges, including bonuses, deductions, pensions, and statutory payments, ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation.
  2. Drive insights and improvements by providing valuable data-driven insights to senior management and spearheading initiatives to streamline and enhance our payroll processes.
  3. Collaborate across teams, working closely with HR, Finance, and IT to optimise our payroll systems and ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
  4. Lead and innovate by participating in or leading payroll-related projects, including system upgrades and process reengineering.
  5. Mentor and support by sharing your expertise and training and developing team members.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) qualification or equivalent (desirable).
  • Previous experience with payroll-related projects, such as system implementations or upgrades.
