We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team at KP Snacks. As a key member of our payroll operations, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our employees' pay. If you have a passion for driving improvements and making an impact, this is an exciting opportunity for you.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Complex Payroll Challenges: Handle intricate payroll scenarios involving bonuses, deductions, pensions, and statutory payments, ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation.
  • Drive Insights and Improvements: Provide valuable, data-driven insights to senior management, and spearhead initiatives to streamline and enhance our payroll processes.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT to optimise our payroll systems and ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
  • Lead and Innovate: Participate in or lead payroll-related projects, including system upgrades and process reengineering, helping us stay ahead of the curve.
  • Mentor and Support: Share your expertise by training and developing team members, and act as the go-to person for resolving payroll queries and issues.

Requirements:



  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
  • CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) qualification or equivalent (desirable).
  • Experience working in a large, multi-site organisation.
  • Previous experience with payroll-related projects, such as system implementations or upgrades.
