Caritas Futures is proud to support the NSPCC, a leading children's charity, in their mission to protect children and young people. We are seeking a dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen and London.

About the Role

As a Child Protection Specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering the public to protect children. You will provide emotional support, practical guidance, and help to anyone who thinks a child may be at risk of abuse. With empathy, sensitivity, and common sense, you will work with adults across the UK to encourage and empower them to look out for the children around them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and practical guidance to individuals who think a child may be at risk of abuse
  • Work with adults across the UK to empower them to protect children and young people
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote child protection
  • Contribute to the development of child protection policies and procedures
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £34,582 - £38,425, plus a 7% shift allowance and a £200 home working allowance. As a Child Protection Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in child protection and make a positive impact on thousands of families across the UK.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of child protection principles and practices. You will also need to be able to work effectively with adults across the UK to empower them to protect children.
