About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Protection Specialist to join our team at Charles Hunter Associates. As a key member of our Children's Services team, you will play a critical role in implementing the Family Safeguarding Model and ensuring the smooth transition of children who require ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children who require statutory assessment or child protection investigation
- Collaborate with local communities and Family Intervention and Support Services to provide comprehensive support
- Develop and implement effective assessment, analysis, and planning skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families
- Engage and motivate children, young people, and their families through excellent interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Degree in Social Work and experience in Child Protection, Children in Need, or Referral & Assessment
- Excellent assessment, analysis, and planning skills
- Strong direct work skills and knowledge to share with colleagues
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
What We Offer
- Salary up to £42,403 (dependent on experience)
- 28 days annual leave (rising to 32 days after 5 years' service)
